touch some grass
Photography series by Jazzley Roque da Silva
The idea for Touch Some Grass began with a simple image in my mind. A man in a suit, worn out from endless office hours and meaningless tasks, steps outside during his break just to feel the earth beneath his hands. That small act of touching the grass became a symbol of escape, grounding, and rediscovery.
This project is about that moment, the pause between chaos and calm. It is a reminder to slow down, to reconnect with something real when life starts to feel routine and empty.
Shot on both analog and digital, Touch Some Grass is a collection of quiet frames filled with sunlight, texture, silence, and breath. Each image reflects that same need to step outside and remember what it means to be alive.
