CABO VERDE 2021

This project marks my first solo journey to my father’s homeland, Cabo Verde, in 2021. What began as a trip to reconnect with my roots became a deeply personal experience of discovery, family, and belonging.

Through this photo series, I wanted to capture the warmth of the people, the everyday beauty of the islands, and the feeling of being home in a place I had only known through stories. It became my first photobook, a visual diary of connection and identity.
